DATEM officially becomes a member of the Philippine Coalition Against Tuberculosis (PhilCAT) in the recent Oath-Taking Ceremony held at the Philippine Pediatric Society Auditorium.

Represented by company physician, Mrs. Maria Gardinia Gopiao-Escay and head office nurse, Jeffrey B. Bandaña, DATEM is the first construction firm to become part of said coalition. 

During the ceremony, themed “Working with Professional Societies for TB Notification: Are we on track?”,  the assembly discussed new practices of TB notification and the ways to properly monitor TB patients.

The Philippine Coalition Against Tuberculosis (PhilCAT), founded in 1994, is a private sector formed due to the need of succeeding the country’s fight against tuberculosis. The major founding members were the Department of Health (DOH), leading specialty societies of chest physicians, infectious disease specialists, and pharmaceutical industry representatives.

With this recent membership, DATEM strengthens its commitment to the core value of Malasakit, displaying a deep sense of stewardship for the nation and compassion for its people.
