Driven by its DATEMalasakit program, the corporate social responsibility (CSR) enterprise of DATEM, the company continuously strives to make a positive social impact and create shared value with the communities to which it belongs.

Project Odette

In the aftermath of Typhoon Odette, DATEM launched a donation drive for the benefit of its employees and their families who have been severely affected by the typhoon.

Relief operations under the DATEM Foundation were also immediately mobilized in a show of solidarity and malasakit to workers and employees whose holidays have been tainted by loss and destruction.

Community partnerships

Meanwhile, in an effort to create a positive presence in its communities, the company reached out to the city government of Taguig for partnership initiatives.

To help support patient care especially amid the growing threat of the Omicron variant of COVID-19, DATEM donated oxygen tanks with regulators and wheelchairs to hospitals in Taguig.

DATEM also donated office equipment to the offices of Barangays San Miguel and South Signal, two of the poorest localities in Taguig. This move is seen to help improve the daily operations of these administrative units and enhance the quality of services given to residents.

Tradition of malasakit

Through these efforts, DATEM strengthens its long-standing tradition of malasakit, which highlights a culture of compassion and respect toward peers, colleagues, and country.
